Harlo McCall

Chief Executive Officer

Harlo McCall was named CEO in November 2014. Having started his career as a nurse, and later as a nurse executive, Harlo has a sharp focus on patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. Harlo has served in clinical and operational leadership roles in acute care hospitals, rehab units and physician clinics, bringing a solid understanding of all aspects of healthcare operations to HealthSouth. Prior to joining HealthSouth, he was chief operating officer at Lehigh Regional Medical Center, Lehigh Acres, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science in nursing and his MBA in healthcare management from William Carey College. 

Mark Wren

Mark Wren, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Wren has been affiliated with HealthSouth Texarkana since 1996. He served as the hospital’s associate medical director for four years prior to becoming the medical director. Dr. Wren completed undergraduate studies at Centenary College, followed by doctor of medicine and masters in public health at Tulane University Schools of Medicine and Public Health.  He completed externships at Mayo Clinic and University of Colorado.  Dr. Wren completed an internship in internal medicine and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and is a board-certified physiatrist.

Mark Wren, M.D. is an independent private practice physician.

Phylis Buck

CFO/Controller

Phylis had three years experience with HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospitals in Tennessee prior to joining HealthSouth Texarkana. She experienced HealthSouth’s compassion and expertise after a family member’s illness, and knew HealthSouth was the kind of company she wanted to work for. She brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management for private, public and non-profit organizations. Phylis received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Bethel College and her executive master's degree in business administration, general, and international business from the University of Memphis.

Ann Clamp

Ann Clapp

Director of Human Resources

Ann is the director of human resources for HealthSouth Texarkana. She has held various management positions since 1990, with a focus on human resource management and development. Ann has a personable style of management with an “open door” policy for all employees. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Ann holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and has a diverse background in manufacturing, transportation and healthcare.

Lorri Ogelsby

Lorri Oglesby

Chief Nursing Officer

Lorri Oglesby began working at HealthSouth in March 2009 as the nurse manager.  Lorri received her associate degree in nursing from Texarkana College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas A & M University.  Lorri has obtained a certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) and is also NIHSS Stroke certified.  Lorri moved into the position of director of case management in July 2013. She is a strong patient advocate and provides pertinent education to both families and patients.  Lorri also has experience in home health, wound care, acute care and physician office environments.

Scott Reid

Director of Plant Operations

Scott has served as director of plant operations/safety officer for HealthSouth Texarkana since 2001. He has more than 25 years of experience in construction, management, quality control and safety. Scott serves as a member of the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) Executive Board and the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) of Texarkana, Texas.

LaSandra Smiley

Director of Pharmacy

LaSandra  joined HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana in July 2014 as Director of Pharmacy. She received her bachelor of science in pharmacy from Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and her doctorate of pharmacy from University of Colorado Denver School of Pharmacy. LaSandra brings with her a variety of pharmacy practice experiences in both retail pharmacy and acute care hospital practices, including working alongside a team of health care professionals to coordinate individualized patient care plans. 

Shayne Smith

Shayne Smith

Director of Case Management

Shayne joined the HealthSouth team in 2014 and brought to the hospital a strong nursing and case management background.  She oversees the case management department making sure all patients have a safe and positive experience throughout their stay and ensures patient comprehension of treatment plans. Upon patient discharge she works with the interdisciplinary team to provide resources to help them succeed back in the community. She attends Texas A&M, Texarkana where she is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree.

Todd Wallace

Todd Wallace

Director of Therapy Operations

Todd was named the director of therapy operations in August 2012.  He has been employed with HealthSouth Texarkana since 2003 and has held positions in the outpatient department and in hospital leadership prior to this role.  He has also worked as a physical therapist in the home health, skilled nursing and acute care settings with his focus being in areas of geriatrics and neurological rehabilitation. Todd attended Southern Arkansas University and completed his master’s degree in physical therapy at the University of Central Arkansas.

Tiffannee Watson

Tiffannee Watson, RN

Director of Marketing Operations

Tiffannee brings over 14 years of experience in healthcare, with focus in areas of orthopedic, cardiac, and has served as rehab liaison for the past 8 years at HealthSouth Texarkana. An East Texas native, she graduated from Texarkana College as licensed vocational nurse then pursued an associate’s degree in nursing. Tiffannee is compassionate and a patient advocate in assisting patients and their families in getting the care and outcomes they deserve.

Director of Quality

Pam joined the HealthSouth Texarkana team in 2012.  Pam has 15 years of healthcare experience in various leadership roles including six years of rehabilitation experience.  Pam is a strong patient advocate and leads patient satisfaction initiatives within our facility.  Pam received her master’s in business administration from Texas A & M University, Texarkana, Texas.
